What is bone graft?
Bone grafts which are also called bone meals are acquired in various ways.
Grafts, which are produced from humans, animals, or which are made synthetically, are prepared as powder with submicron particles or blocks.

In which circumstances are bone grafts used?
Bone grafts are used if bone is insufficient where dental implants will be placed, when there is a request for dental implant after tooth extraction at the same appointment, during sinus lift surgery before placing implants, or when there is an extraction of the teeth which caused chronic infection or bone loss staying for a long time. The substances, which are necessary for bone formation and growing, help the area recover more quickly and increase bone volume.
